Job Purpose : We are seeking an experienced engineer that has Subject Matter Expertise in rotating equipment Machinery Diagnostics and condition assessment using vibration and process data to provide hands on and remote diagnostics support to balance and align equipment in a large fleet of power plants nationwide.
Responsibilities :
Support the following machines: Combustion Turbines, Generators, large Steam Turbines, 4KV
Motors and Pumps, Compressors & Boiler Fans.
Candidate will be working with analysis of vibration and process data from Bently Nevada racks, System 1, Adre, Emerson Machinery Health Manager, CSI Machinery Heath Analyzer, IOtech Analyzer, ez-TOMAS analysis software and OSISoft PI system, so proficiency in same are required for success.
Candidate must have demonstrable expertise in proper hands on and remote machinery field balancing techniques, shaft alignment, vibration data analysis and data analysis.
Under limited guidance, position has responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments.
Plans and develops engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial complexities which have important impact on major company programs.
Acts as technical liaison to individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to individual's field.
Travel to power plants will be required for onsite troubleshooting support.
Ability to work extended hours if necessary

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science
Ability to travel to power plants will be required for onsite troubleshooting support
5
years of experience in the following vibration diagnostics, predictive monitoring, machine balancing, rotor dynamics and troubleshooting
Highly Preferred
Six Sigma or similar Quality training and/or Recognized Industry certification in the area of machinery diagnostics and vibration data analysis.
