Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy School.
Experience /
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy in the State of Florida. American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Providers. Pelvic Health Certification. Previous experience or clinical rotations in treating Pelvic patients in an Outpatient setting preferred. Two years of experience preferred.
Position Summary
The Rehab Therapist Specialist will deliver safe and competent therapy as ordered by a physician. Plans, organizes, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients with pelvic floor dysfunctions including chronic pelvic pain, myofascial pain syndrome, and bowel and bladder incontinence. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality therapy services for patients in accordance with the principals and practices of physical/occupational therapy. Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care. Maintains positive level of interaction with patients and co-workers. Performs other duties as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
