Summary:
Processes A/P vendor invoices for the company in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing and balancing A/P invoice batches and ACH/Check or CC requests for payment on a weekly basis.
Receives invoices, codes invoices and routes to correct divisions for approval using Medius Approval software.
Communicates with vendors and internal customers regarding A/P inquiries in a timely manner.
Researches and resolves all vendor discrepancies.
Assists with the reviewing of A/P processes and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency Maintains master list of all vendors for use in coding invoices.
Maintains open company A/P files.
Prepares Credit applications and processes W9 Creates New Vendors as needed Prepares sales and use tax reports monthly and files.
Processes all available A/P invoices prior to month-end.
Compiles aged A/P summary for the company monthly.
Verifies the aged summary matches the A/P control account.
Monthly Reconciliation of Accounts Payable General Ledger Backup to AP Supplier Clerk as needed Additional Duties And

Educational/Vocational/Previous
Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 5 years A/P experience desired.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
