Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses - Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit - Educate customers on lens options, frames, and lens treatments - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments - Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues Requirements:
- Previous experience as an optician or in a related field preferred - Knowledge of medical billing and insurance procedures - Familiarity with pediatric eye care is a plus - Strong understanding of optical principles and physiology of the eye - Proficient in managing medical records and maintaining patient confidentiality - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment - Basic math skills for retail sales transactions - Familiarity with retail management systems is a plus - Ability to provide care for senior patients with patience and empathy Note:
