As a lab assistant, you will work with our laboratory team to process samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results.
Responsibilities Prepare samples/specimens for testing using various laboratory equipment.
Research relevant topics and gather information/data to prepare for studies.
Adhere to required procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations.
Document all activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Clean and sterilize equipment and work area.
Provide basic administrative assistance.
Requirements High School Diploma required.
Certificate, Degree, or Experience in medical technology, biology or chemistry preferred.
Prior years' experience in a similar role is a plus.
Good understanding of computers and technology, prior Lab Information Systems is a plus.
Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding analytical abilities and judgement.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean workspace by following all lab regulations for health and safety.
