Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets.
Your exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of veterinary practices will contribute to providing a positive experience for both clients and their furry friends.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor - Schedule appointments and maintain an organized appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and professionally - Obtain and update patient information in the electronic medical records system - Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed - Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Provide support in maintaining inventory of supplies Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is required - Proficient knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach towards animals and their owners - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Familiarity with medical collection procedures is a plus - Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness in the clinic Join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
