Must demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude and work well with the practice's providers, administrator, staff and patients when dealing with scheduling problems and patient problems, etc.
This description has been designed to represent the general nature and level of work found in this position.

Job Responsibilities Responsible for bringing all patients back and putting them in the appropriate rooms.
Responsible for getting all necessary information that the provider requests together before the patient is seen.
Faxing all necessary information to referring providers when requested.
Responsible for making sure exam rooms all always in neat and clean order.
Wipe down exam tables and replace any supplies that may be needed weekly.
Remember supplies are only ordered that last week of the month no exceptions.
Taking out garbage daily from exam rooms.
Assist providers in the back when needed.
Call patients that need follow-up appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Make sure all scanning is done by the end of the day.
Walking all patients to the front desk after each appointment and telling the front desk the necessary next steps for the patient Responsible for faxing out Medical Records Requests Send Monthly Supply orders to Supervisor Identify any medical records errors and communicate them to the appropriate people.
Prioritize your work so the most important work is completed first.
Have flexibility in time scheduling.
Must dress in a professional manner, and project a positive image and attitude for The Medical Group of South Florida always.
Must cooperate and communicate well with all providers, administrator, employees and patients Must always contribute important information to appropriate person and maintain an open-minded attitude.
Must maintain a steady and productive workplace Must make sure that all data should be made with less than a 2% error rate.
Must always demonstrate good judgment when dealing with sensitive issues and observe all policies regarding confidentiality and HIPAA rules.
Must perform other duties as assigned to you that may not be part of your job description Job Qualifications High School or equivalent, helpful but not necessary.
