Summary:
The Admissions Coordinator II will participate in Futures census development efforts and communication to Futures Recovery Healthcare staff with retrospect to prospective clients.
Will work as part of the admissions team assessing and receiving appropriate clients for admission.
The Admissions Coordinator II must adhere to patient confidentiality guidelines, maintain a professional relationship with patients, work cooperatively with other staff, represent Futures in a professional manner and maintain good, professional skills.
Minimum two years admission experience in Substance Abuse, Addictions and/or Mental Health Environment, preferred.
Job Duties:
Records the outcome of calls and makes follow-up calls as necessary.
Obtains pertinent information as it relates to inclusionary and exclusionary criteria.
Obtains insurance information where applicable and provide appropriate information for timely verification of benefits.
Presents clinical information from prospective clients to the Admissions Manager or Shift Lead and record all information gathered in Salesforce.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of all services and resources provided by Futures and other services available within the referral community.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of national and local referral sources including the proper procedures for the handling of particular referral source leads.
Participates in all admissions department meetings.
Assess appropriateness of admission by ensuring that all clients meet the criteria as described in Futures policy and procedures and Florida State DCF Substance Abuse, CARF and Joint Commission guidelines.
Communicate client financial needs to Admissions Manager or Shift Lead.
Helps facilitate transportation and travel arrangements for clients entering the program.
Adheres to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, and punctuality.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Attends in-service training, when necessary.
Attitude demonstrates a positive approach and commitment reflecting professionalism and ethical standards.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or director.
Skills and Knowledge:
Must possess the following skills:

Must also have basic knowledge in using computers and basic office equipment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
