The Els for Autism Foundation serves families around the world and offers in-person programs and services at The Els Center of Excellence in Jupiter, Florida.
This part-time (20 hour per week) position includes the responsibility for assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including billing for private pay, insurance claims and third party payors for therapeutic services rendered to Foundation clients.
Responsible for assisting with the Electronic Medical Record billing, maintenance and Intake of clients as well as following up on denied insurance claims across multiple insurance companies.
Work directly with accounting and the client and/or their designated caregiver to verify benefits prior to service as well as ensuring claims are processed correctly and paid in a timely manner.
In terms of receivables, this position records fundraising and general donation transactions; reconciles credit card bills and enters payments into Quickbooks coded by GL and class accounts.
The successful candidate will have experience with Quickbooks, Central Reach, Word and Excel and have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with employees, clients, and providers.
