The ideal candidate should have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, be a great communicator, organized, driven and detail-oriented.
Their duties will include recording the Company's financial accounts and records, tracking invoices and payments, maintaining a system for organizing Company documents, and monitoring important deadlines and appointments.
Responsibilities:
Maintain Company business records, including income and expenses.
Enter data into spreadsheets and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks), compile reports, gather and organize bank statements, highlight discrepancies in Company records and research reasons for errors or differences in expected versus actual account balances.
Manage account payables and receivables.
Keep track of all Company transaction documents in a client database.
Maintain calendar for due dates of license renewals and other professional documents.
General administration duties such as filing, keeping track of work-flow, e-filing, property and local and state taxes, etc.
Requirements:
3 plus years experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
In-depth experience with QuickBooks.
Some knowledge of real estate sales and contracts.
Competency in MS Office and Excel.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Exceptional organization skills.
Possess notary license.
