Education: Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant degree
Experience/
Qualifications:
  • Licensure in the State of Florida as APRN/RN or Physcian Assistant
  • American Heart Assocation BLS Certification, for Health Care Provider
  • ACLS Certification
  • Demonstrates high quality case management abilities and clinical competency
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Experience in OR working as a first assist. Preferrably in the Oncology field.

Position
Summary:
The APRN/PA works in collaboration with physicians and other patient care team members, in an active practice to deliver health care services to patients and families.
  • Provides direct patient care.
  • Performs procedures and prescribes medications under protocol.
  • Provides patient education and counseling.
  • Participates in the marketing, evaluation and growth at JMC.
  • The position will support all of oncology physician plus assisting as first assist in the OR.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
